The Dominion brought the concept of guilds to Ur'vael, and ever since, numerous establishments have flourished across the southern realms. Guilds provide opportunities to share resources, skills, and knowledge in everything from shipbuilding, masonry, and publicans to spellcraft and esoteric debate. All are registered through Dominion Charter and can rely on Dominion diplomatic neutrality to freely function in all nations, unaffected by political struggles or borders. Guild culture echoes that of the Dussar - all business is a transactional relationship that should be unhindered by social standing. Anyone can gain favour, unlock special privileges, and ask more of their guild should they prove their worth in kind.
Each Guild has a charter that outlines their purview and tokens such as a coin or badge that prove membership and influence within the guild. They provide their members with access to amenities that were previously only available to the nobility, such as guild housing, and access to ships and resources needed to embark upon voyages or engage in business. Each guild has representatives that act as facilitators for guild business in towns and ports across Dussar and Ur'vael. Without this network, most of the population of Ur'vael would simply not have the opportunity to travel outside of their home villages, let alone engage in education or higher employment.
