A local entrepreneur, and now self-proclaimed King, Kairo Vyran, was quick to move in on the opportunity, renaming the icy fortress in his own name. He has declared an independent nation of the territory, echoing the theory of Dominion enclaves. Its expansive port is the only southern hub free from Stravin trade restrictions, with its dockside markets hocking off all manner of barely understood fey artefacts. With the magic of the fey gone from the world, some say that the crystal palace is actually slowly melting, but for now its crystalline walls, and armaments from King Vyran's Thaklazi connections hold Stravin indignation of the entire situation at the gates.
