Sitting south of Anderlynd is the rugged coast of Skarn. Generations ago, Skarn and Anderlynd flew the same banner, until the Ragnar Rebellion resulted in much of Anderlynd's mainland holdings separating into what is now known as the Kingdom of Skarn. There is still much antagonism between the Island Halls and those south of the mountains. The people here are hardy and stoic, necessary traits to carve a life from the edge of the Stravin taiga and the beasts that lurk within its forests. The Skarn are fiercely self-reliant and value an honorable hunt above all else, wearing the furs and leathers of the beasts that would threaten them with pride. They are ruled by the warrior King Alrik Ragnarsson who claims to be the true heir of Ander's line. Despite whispers that Skarn's bloodline is cursed, King Alrik's boldness is legendary, often sighted leading raids into Anderlynd and Dominion waters personally.
